Joe's Bar of Gotham was the setting for the August 20, 2011 wedding of Debbie DeFrisco and Max Erickson, both of Boscobel. Parents of the bride are the late Earl and Vivian Davis, McGregor, Iowa and par-ents of the groom are Alice Swiggum, Viroqua and the late Arnty Swiggum. The ceremony was witnessed by Maxine Erickson, Pelosi, daughter of the groom and Shawn Kraft, Pelosi, son of the bride. Teah Ward, Bo-scobel, niece of the groom was the flower girl. The bride was escorted by Al Goldsmith, McGregor, Iowa, friend of the bride. Henk Newenhouse of Gotham officiated. The couple specifically honored Alice Swiggum and the late Earl and Vivian Davis. The bride is a homemaker and the groom is employed by Platteville Shopping News and the Scott Township Re-cycling Service. A dinner and dance were held at Joe's Bar following the ceremony. Music was pro-vided by Dance Doctors. The couple reside in Bosco-bel.
