Kala Nielsen and Jerred Jacobsen were united in marriage on July 13, 2013 in Darlington on the bridge at Bridges Restaurant. Lucus Risser officiated the ceremony.
    The bride is the daughter of Jerry and Sheila Nielsen of Shullsburg and the groom is the son of Bill and the late Lisa Jacobsen of Darlington.
    Rachel Schwartz was the matron of honor and the bridesmaids were Amanda Jackson, friend of the bride; Megan Jacobsen, twin sister of the groom; Morgan Torstenson, friend of the bride and Janelle Jackson, friend of the bride.
    Tim Houtakker was the best man and the groomsmen were Heath Jacobsen, brother of the groom; Ryan Jenson, friend of the groom; Travis Nielsen, brother of the bride and Jordan Torstenson, friend of the groom.
    Following the wedding ceremony a reception was held at Bridges Restaurant in Darlington.
    The couple spent five days at Atlantis in the Bahamas in August for their honeymoon and currently reside in Darlington.
