Lara Fairchild, Platteville, and Ronald Christensen, La Mesa, Calif., were united in marriage at 11 a.m. on April 4 at the United Methodist Church in Platteville. Brenda Whitford officiated the ceremony. A wedding celebration will take place in the spring of 2016.
The bride is the daughter of Dan and Nancy Fairchild, Platteville. The groom is the son of Joyce Sprock, La Mesa, Calif.
The bride wore a lace capped, sleeveless princess ball gown with a bird cage head piece handmade by her sister, Sara Koeller.
Flower girl was Michelle Koeller, niece of the bride. Ring bearers were Gavin Koeller and Cruz Fairchild, nephews of the bride.
Ronald is a 94S-Patriot System repair specialist for the U.S. Army. Lara works at Benvenuto’s in Platteville. The couple will reside at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas.
