Jennifer “Jeni” Olson and Garrett Bartowitz, Milwaukee, were married May 28 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Wauwatosa.
    Parents of the bride are Gary and Mary Lou Olson, Fennimore, and the late Candice Olson.
    Parents of the groom are Alfred “Skip” Bartowitz and Barb Sowle, Wauwatosa.
    The ceremony was officiated by Father David Carrano, Father David Timmerman and Father Paul Ugo Arinze.
    Kathryn Haun served as matron of honor and Jessica Helms served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Amy Tripp, sister of the groom, Melissa Olson, sister of the bride, and Gina Pignotti. The junior bridesmaid was Anastasia Bartowitz, cousin of the groom. The flower girls were Ava Foley, step-niece of the bride, Kyle Tripp, niece and God daughter of the groom, and Anna Haun, God daughter of the bride. Bridal attendants were Sarah Hodkiewicz, Amber Ostrowski, cousin of the bride, and Maria Thomas. Kelly Folley, step-sister of the bride, and Becky VanderHeiden, step-sister of the bride, were usherettes.
    Matthew Boyd served as best man. Groomsmen were Brad Olson, brother of the bride, Mark Tripp, brother-in-law of the groom, David duVergey, and Phil Wamser. The junior groomsman was Alexander Bartowitz, cousin of the groom. The ring bearer was Zachariah Bartowitz, cousin of the groom. Ushers were Jamie Kroll, step-brother of the bride, Jeremy Kroll, step-brother of the bride, Nicholas Poethig, and Jake Tripp, step-nephew of the groom.
    Jeni received a bachelor’s degree from Marquette University School of Nursing in Milwaukee in 2008. She is currently employed as an RN at Froedtert and The Medical College of Wisconsin’s Clinical Cancer Center in Milwaukee.
    Garrett received an associate degree of applied business from the San Diego Golf Academy. He is currently employed at Josten’s as a sales representative and as a golf professional.
    The couple enjoyed a two-week trip to Italy.
