Christina Soman and Brian Schmick were married on June 11 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids. Father James Altman performed the 1:30 p.m. ceremony.  Mary Englert provided the music and Christina Laduron provided the singing.
The bride’s parents are Daniel and Kathryn Soman of Livingston. Parents of the groom are Lawrence and Barbara Schmick of Wisconsin Rapids.
Carrie Soman was maid of honor and Melissa Soman was matron of honor.  Bridesmaids were Carrie Hrubes and Jessica Rettler.  Grace Laufenberg was flower girl.
Patrick Schmick was best man. Groomsmen were Christopher Lau, Douglas Kregel and Brad Gotz. RC Sayler and John Laufenberg served as ushers. Russell Sayler and Maxwell Sayler were ring bearers.
A reception was held at Hotel Mead in Wisconsin Rapids.
The bride is employed as a fourth grade teacher at Tri-County School District. The groom is employed as a financial analyst at Marshfield Clinic.
They reside in Wisconsin Rapids.
