A reminder for farmers that private pesticide applicator training sessions will be held on Thursday, March 12 and Friday, March 20 in Viroqua.  These sessions start at 9 a.m. with testing ending at 4:30 p.m.  Pre-registration is required.

Individuals who wish to register for the class can do so by stopping at the UW-Extension Office located in the Erlandson Office Building.  Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

A private pesticide applicator license is required for farmers who purchase, use and apply restricted use pesticides. The registration fee is $30 per private applicator with the certification valid for five years.
