Mound City Bank, Platteville, promoted two employees to vice president positions.

Jeffrey A. Miesen was promoted to vice president–agribusiness lending. Miesen joined Mound City Bank in 1997 as a loan officer and was previously assistant vice president of lending, working mainly with agricultural lending. He is a licensed insurance agent servicing the bank’s crop insurance customers since 2008. He is a 1994 graduate of UW–Platteville with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business. He lives in Platteville with his wife, Jennifer, and their two children, Jayla and Jared.

Jeff Stange was promoted to vice president–business banking. Stange has 24 years of banking experience and was assistant vice president–commercial lending for the last 10 years. Prior to Mound City Bank Jeff held lending positions at American Trust and Savings Bank in Dubuque and Harris Trust & Savings Bank in Chicago. He graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with Business Administration minor.  He lives in Platteville with his wife, Kerri Sue, and three sons, Jack, Ben and Henry.

•    Sarah Olson, compliance manager at Mound City Bank, received her successful completion from the WBA Compliance Officer School at the Chula Vista Resort & Conference Center May 20–22. Sponsored by the Wisconsin Bankers Association, the curriculum is designed to provide bankers with the necessary tools to develop, implement and manage a compliance program. It is geared toward bankers who have been asked to expand their role in compliance management and enhance the bank’s compliance program.
