ManorCare Health Service hired John Padjen as the new administrator of ManorCare’s Platteville facility.

Padjen will be taking over the position from former Administrator Ryan Locy who accepted another position within the company.

Padjen was born and raised in Eau Claire and attended UW–Eau Claire and graduated with a degree in Health Care Administration. Padjen enrolled in a comprehensive training program that was completed at a ManorCare facility in Fond du Lac. During the 2,000-hour experience, he focused primarily on developing his technical skills and studying the fundamental principles of leadership.  This training experience also satisfied the requirements that dictate the application process for professional licensure.

In Padjen’s free time he enjoys playing golf, traveling, reading, boating, and watching the Green Bay Packers embarrass the Minnesota Vikings.
