Vernon County authorities are also seeking the public’s help to discover who entered vehicles and garages to steal items in La Farge.

According to Vernon County Crime Stoppers of Viroqua, multiple thefts and burglaries took place in the village during a six hour period between 11 a.m. Nov. 30 and 5 a.m. Dec. 1.

Vehicles were entered and items were taken. Numerous entries were made to a garage complex on West Highland Street.

Vehicles were also entered in the 400 block of N. Bird St. and the 300 block of N. State St.

Items taken include a Garmin GPS system and an undisclosed amount of cash.

Vernon County Crime Stoppers offers tipsters cash rewards for information that leads to solving crimes. Tipsters may be eligible for rewards of up to $1,000 and can remain anonymous.
