Vernon County authorities are seeking the public’s help to discover who caused property damage at a park in Jefferson township last week.
According to Vernon County Crime Stoppers of Viroqua, during the evening of Nov. 24 or the early morning hours of Nov. 25, the grass at Esofea Park, on Park Road, was damaged severely.
The intentional damage was done by at least two vehicles by driving and spinning through fresh snow. An empty red bag of Lay’s potato chips was left at the scene.
