Drug investigators seized 12 marijuana plants and arrested a Viroqua man Oct. 1 following an investigation that began last month.
According to a Vernon County Sheriff’s Office press release Oct. 20, Jeremy Kvamme, 24, faces charges of manufacturing and possessing marijuana.
The Oct. 20 release came three days after authorities uncovered a $220,000+ marijuana operation in the county.
Sheriff John Spears said that a marijuana growing operation was discovered last month near Mahoney Road in Viroqua township.
Investigators from the Sheriff’s Office and the West Central Metropolitan Group (MEG) drug task force located the plants and identified Kvamme as the person responsible.
The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office also assisted in the investigation.
