School District names 2022 top scholars

ABRIANA BROWN

Boscobel High School is pleased to announce the Class of 2022 Valedictorian, Abriana Brown. Abri is the daughter of Scott and Kari Brown. Besides earning top academic honors at Boscobel High School, Abri has also excelled in her extra curricular activities. Abri is a State Champion in Cross Country and Track and Field (4x800 meter relay). She is also the school record holder for the Girls Cross Country 5K. Abri has earned All-Conference Honors and Academic All Conference Honors, along with Academic All-State Honors. Abri is a team captain and varsity starter for our girls basketball team. Other activities that she is involved in include Leo’s Club, Student Council, Choir, and Abri has been elected as the Class President each year of high school. Along with being inducted into our National Honor Society last year, Abri was selected as the Badger Girls State Representative for BHS. Abri was also honored as Lion’s Club Student of the Month for October. Her future plans include to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she will take course that will allow her to obtain her undergraduate degree. Eventually, Abri plans to earn her doctorate to become a psychologist.

PARKER STEELE

Parker Steele, son of Hans and Laura Steele, has earned Salutatorian honors at Boscobel High School. In Fall of 2022, Parker plans to attend Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia, where he has accepted an offer to play Division 3 Men’s Volleyball. Parker will be majoring in Marketing and Sports Management. Parker has played Boy’s Volleyball through Madison Inferno Club for the past two years. Besides volleyball, Parker has participated in cross country and track. He has earned All Conference Honors, Academic All Conference Honors, and Academic All State Honors. Parker’s other school activities include choir, Madrigal, Student Council, and Leo’s Club. Parker was also inducted in the National Honor Society, and selected as a Badger Boy’s State Representative and December Lion’s Club Student of the Month.
