Platteville Middle School students performed at the Southwest Wisconsin Conference Solo and Ensemble contest at Lancaster Middle School Saturday. Eighty-one of the 110 entries received first-place ratings. Six received First-Superior ratings and will perform in the state festival at UW–Platteville in April — Lexi Acierno and Sierra Vivian (soprano solos and vocal duet), Grey Genzoli, string bass solo, and Miles Greenlee, cello solo.
