A Zumbathon for the Grant County Cancer Coalition will be held at Platteville Middle School Sunday, Sept. 29 from 2 to 4 p.m.

  Zumba is a dance-based exercise that a person at any fitness level can participate in.

The entrance fee is $10, with additional donations welcome. All monies raised will be donated to the Grant County Cancer Coalition.

The Grant County Cancer Coalition is a non-profit organization created to provide financial assistance to cancer patients in Grant County Wisconsin. The coalition was formed in an effort to keep money raised locally in Grant County, directly helping friends and neighbors.

The coalition provides help with some of the extra expenses cancer patients may have — for example, expenses for people traveling to other cities for treatments. Funds are available to anyone residing in Grant County who is currently fighting cancer.
