Dec. 18 is the special date for this month’s Lyme support group meeting at the Hillsboro Public Library meeting room, 819 High Ave.

This month’s meeting is one week early to avoid falling on Christmas Day. Otherwise,  the group meets on the final Friday of each month.

Whether you are in need of Lyme Disease peers with whom to visit, or you are willing to visit with other Lyme sufferers who attend, your presence is always welcomed.

Some people have asked: “What does it cost to come to the Hillsboro Lyme support meeting?”

The answer: Nothing. There are no dues or fees of any sort.

When you attend, you may merely listen, or may chose to visit with others, ask questions, and express your opinions. Tell others about your experience with the disease. Other sympathetic ears will listen, and they, too, will talk about what works for them and what doesn’t in fighting against Lyme disease.

From this sharing of information, the searching sufferer can build his/her confidence, knowledge and sense of direction about options of how to build or tailor their treatment of tick borne Illnesses.

A table of current free materials about the various insect vector-borne illnesses (IVBI) is also available at every meeting. This printed information can be browsed and/or taken home.

Our coordinator can be reached by e-mail garycepek@yahoo.com, telephone 608-489-2725 (ask for Gary), or surface mail: Gary Cepek, S1468 Cepek Rd., Elroy, WI 53929.
