Community Evangelical Free Church in Platteville held a summer kids program, Camp Epic, run by the church’s youth group in Smith Park last week. The camp took place in lieu of a mission trip to New Orleans; the group decided to do mission work at home instead this year. About 20 members of the youth group and adults ran activities for about 50 children last Tuesday through Friday, including games, skits and stories, Bible lessons, lunch and small group activities. The camp ended with a pool party Friday night.
