Housing Authority update leads to rental discussion

Good luck to anyone looking to rent in Boscobel. With Boscobel Housing Authority units full and a waiting list in place, and private rental units also full, finding a place to rent in Boscobel is difficult to say the least.

“There definitely is a shortage of rental property,” said Sally Waltz of First Weber Realty’s Boscobel office. “I get calls from people all the time looking to rent, but right now there isn’t anything. I know it’s hard, especially for good renters who are able to pay good rent, to find a nice place.”

The subject of rental properties came up during Monday night’s Common Council meeting, when Council members heard an update on the Boscobel Housing Authority from executive director Kelly Trumm.
