GAYS MILLS – Water service in the Village of Gays Mills was interrupted Tuesday, June 8, by a water main break in Highway 131 construction zone caused by digging alongside the roadway.

Last seen by this reporter following the catastrophic flash flooding event in June of 2021, no signs of the ravages of that flooding remained. The stream flowed clear and cold, bountiful plant growth was bursting with life, and swallows and dragonflies darted through the air.July 19, 2023
