A 63-year-old Shullsburg man faces one felony and two misdemeanor charges after three indecent exposure incidents.

Scott L. Arnold made his initial appearance in Grant County Circuit Court in Lancaster Friday on a charge of exposing genitals to a child, a felony, and two counts of lewd and lascivious behavior — exposure.

Arnold’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for Friday at 1:30 p.m. He faces a maximum 3½ years in prison and a $10,000 fine if convicted of the felony charge.

Arnold is free on a $1,000 signature bond.

Arnold was arrested after Platteville police received reports of someone exposing himself to women and children along Business 151 Jan. 25 and 27. A Platteville police news release said Arnold was also investigated for a similar incident in Cuba City Jan. 28.

Platteville police Lt. Jeff Haas said police believe there may have been other unreported indecent-exposure incidents, and that there may be other witnesses to the three incidents. Anyone with information on those or other incidents is asked to contact Platteville police, 348-2313.
