A 42-year-old Muscoda man faces drunk driving homicide charges after a fatal crash last August.

A status conference will be held in Grant County Circuit Court in Lancaster today at 1 p.m. for Michael S. Green on charges of homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle and homicide by use of a vehicle with prohibited alcohol concentration.

Green pleaded not guilty to the charges March 19, according to court records. He faces a maximum penalty of 25 years in prison and $100,000 in fines on each charge.

Green was the driver in a crash on Grant County G southwest of Muscoda Aug. 14 around 2 p.m. Green’s car went off G on a corner near Old Blue River Road, went onto the west shoulder, slid sideways across the road and went off the east side of the road, going through a yard before hitting a tree on the front passenger side, according to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.

The Sheriff’s Office said in August that Green’s car appeared to be going at high speed.

Terrie Selinski, 41, Clinton Township, Mich., was taken to UW Hospital in Madison, where she died Aug. 16. Green and a passenger, Howard Miller, 37, of Michigan, were injured.

Green was also cited with failure to keep a vehicle under control and operating left of center.
