Platteville police will again be participating in a speed and safety belt enforcement effort in the month of July. 

Enhanced enforcement will take place July 3–4, July 17 and July 28, specifically targeting Business 151. 

During the June deployment, police had four extra officers patrolling the Business 151 corridor. A total of 29 citations were written from 32 traffic stops. 

Enforcement deployments are also planned for August and September.
