Two arrested on meth charges after Monday fire

Two people have been arrested on charges stemming from the fire that damaged a Platteville building early Monday.

Kerry M. King, 22, Platteville, was arrested on a felony charge of purchasing pseudoephedrine products on behalf of another.

James M. Youngblood, 23, Platteville, was arrested on a felony charge of manufacture of methamphetamine and a misdemeanor charge of neglecting a child.

The two charges stem from the fire at 42 W. Main St. that damaged two businesses and seven apartments Monday around 4 a.m.
