Richland County Farm Bureau will be hosting a forum for candidates in the 50th and 51st assembly district on July 30, at 7:30 p.m. at the Richland Center Community Building. The focus of this forum will be for the candidates to give a brief introduction of themselves and an opportunity to weigh in on key issues facing agriculture today.

“These are important elections in our county and this is a chance for the voters to hear the candidate’s views on agriculture issues that will impact farms in the future,” Richard Hauser, Richland County Farm Bureau President, said.

This event is free and open to the public, and there will be time to meet the candidates following the forum.

The 50th assembly seat is currently held by Ed Brooks and the 51st assembly seat was vacated by Howard Marklein.

If you have any questions, please contact Richland County Farm Bureau President, Richard Hauser at 608-585-4808 or District 3 Coordinator, Gretchen Kamps at 866-355-7343.
