THE SHULLSBURG street department crew removes snow from the downtown area at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 21, after a winter storm that moved through the area on Friday left approximately 7 inches of snow. Freezing rain a few days later left road conditions icy at the start of the work week, causing many accidents throughout Lafayette County.
