Jonathon Dull performs at White House
The BFG Jonathon Dull

Boscobel High School and Viterbo University graduate Jonathon Dull recently had the opportunity to perform at the White House for Halloween. A theater and dance major, while obtaining his BFA degree at Viterbo, Dull was cast in the Big Friendly Giant as the lead role of BFG himself. The 15-foot-tall puppet toured the United States after the Viterbo performance and the troupe received a special invitation to perform at the White House for Halloween. “The opportunity had to be kept hush hush until the event was over for security reasons,” Jonathon said. “It was an honor and privilege to remount my role of The Big Friendly Giant for the Obama's Halloween Party. The event welcomed veterans and their families for a spooktacular evening. The BFG was the greeter of the event and ‘opening act’ for the trick or treat line with Mr. & Mrs. Obama. A whoopsy-splunkers day and a check off the bucket list.” Jonathon is the son of Roddy and Lorinda Dull of Woodman and Sue Dull of Dane Wisconsin.
