Glen Updike is a gamer, make that was a gamer.

“I’m pretty much retired as a competitive gamer,” said the 32-year-old video game record holder.

Updike has broken 20 world records on games such as Castlevania, Roadblasters, Legendary Wings and his most recent, Lifeforce. These are some Nintendo games and/or arcade games.

Updike broke his first world record when he was 27 years old, however it never really meant much to him until he had broken about 12 of them.

As of right now Updike has his video game life on the side while he works at Boscobel’s local Tall Tails, Sports and Spirits. In 2014, he joined his friend Michael Sroka as they co-hosted Twin Galaxies Internet Show segment “Settle it on the Screen.
