Viroqua youth suffers minor injuries in rollover

A 17-year-old Viroqua youth sustained minor injuries Nov. 1 in a one-vehicle rollover crash on Hwy. 56 in Jefferson township.

According to the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office in Viroqua, Mitchell Oldham was driving west on Hwy. 56 near Volden Road. He lost control of his vehicle on a curve and traveled over an embankment. His vehicle then rolled over into a corn field.

The vehicle’s air bag did not deploy.

Oldham was wearing his seat belt.

He was treated and released for minor injuries at the scene by Tri-State Ambulance.

Assisting at the scene were the Viroqua Fire and Police departments.
