Adelaide J. Haferbecker, age 75, of Gratiot, formerly of Dubuque, Iowa, passed away peacefully at 11:44 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 17, 2014 at Memorial Hospital in Darlington.  Adelaide was born on July 25, 1939 in Galena, Ill., daughter of Albert and Ethel (Ivy) Boggild. 

To celebrate Addie’s life, family and friends may visit from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014 at Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main St., Dubuque, Iowa, where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m.  Also to celebrate Addie’s life, family and friends may visit from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 24, 2014 at the Warren United Methodist Church, 107 East Jefferson, Warren, Ill.  To honor Addie’s life, funeral services will be held at the Warren United Methodist Church at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014 with Pastor Roger Bronkema officiating.  Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery in Dubuque, Iowa.  Behr Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
