Alice L. Ubersox, 61 of Darlington, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011, at her home surrounded by her family following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born Aug. 19, 1950, in Dodgeville, the daughter of John and Mildred (Wagner) Stauffacher. Funeral services were held Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011, at 1 p.m. at Immanuel United Church of Christ, 339 East Louisa St. in Darlington, with Stephen Stauffacher and Rev. Dr. Connie Peake co-officiating. Burial was in Union Grove Cemetery in Darlington. A visitation was held Saturday, Oct. 15, from 3-8 p.m. at the church and on Sunday, Oct. 16, from noon until the time of service at the church.
