Betty J. Thompson, age 83 of Shullsburg, passed away Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque, Iowa. She was born on Nov. 10, 1931 in New Diggings, the daughter of Charles and Florence (Alderson) Rock.
A funeral service was held Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at Erickson Funeral Home (235 N. Judgement St, Shullsburg) with Rev. David Ritchie of Waldwick Community Church officiating. Burial was in Shawnee Cemetery in New Diggings. A visitation was held from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Erickson Funeral Home where an Eastern Star service was held at 11:00 a.m. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.ericksonfuneralhome.com.
