Carl Gustave Gutknecht, Avoca, died at Riverdale Health Care Center in Muscoda on July 14, 2021, at the age of 92.

Funeral services were held on Friday, July 16, at Avoca United Methodist Church in Avoca, with visitation until the time of services. Burial followed in the Avoca Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Avoca United Methodist Church.
