Elda “Rita” (Polley) Maybee, 66, of Gays Mills, passed away to another life on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at her home with her family at her side.

She was born in Pine, Missouri on December 20, 1945. She live in the area most of her life. She enjoyed being surrounded by her family and friends and her love of nature.

Rita is survived by her son, James Maybee, Jr., Viroqua, her daughter, Jeannette Maybee, Gays Mills and granddaughter, Tressa (Maybee) Williams of Chaseburg and her beloved dog, Gizmo.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, May 29 beginning at 6 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. at the Community of Christ Church, County X, off Hwy 131 and 61, rural Soldiers Grove.
