Evelyn M. Scheckel died on Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at The Richland Hospital in Richland Center.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Richland Center, on Monday, September 24, with a visitation before the Mass. Monsignor Roger J. Scheckel officiated. A visitation took place at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Wauzeka, with the rosary prayed, followed by burial in the Wauzeka Cemetery.
