Joan Elaine Rule Ashmore, 77, Boscobel, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2019, at the University of Iowa  Hospital in Iowa City, surrounded by her family. 
Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel. Pastor Mary Ann Floerke officiated.  Burial was in the Hickory Grove Cemetery rural Boscobel.
