John D. Soley, 81, Dubuque, passed away suddenly at home of an apparent heart attack on April 20.

At John’s request, there will be no wake or service. There will be a Celebration of John’s life at a later date. Knowledge was his God. Teaching was his religion. The classroom was his church. Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main Street, is in charge of arrangements.
