John R. Lewin, 90 of Darlington, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2011, at Heartsong Assisted Living in Belleville. He was born Oct. 30, 1920, in Lindsey, town of Rock, the son of Herman and Ada (Wojohn) Lewin.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 24, at 11 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Darlington with Rev. Jeffrey M. Tomberlin officiating. Burial was in Union Grove Cemetery in Darlington. A visitation was held Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
