ELKADER, IOWA—John Raymond Koresh, age 68, of Elkader, Iowa, died suddenly Saturday, April 16, 2016, at Central Community Hospital in Elkader.

Mass of the Christian Burial was at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Elkader, Iowa with Rev. Paul Peters as the Celebrant. Private family inurnment was at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Cemetery, rural Monona, Iowa with full military rites. Leonard Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Elkader, Iowa helped the family with arrangements.
