LANCASTER—Loren D. Nix, age 70, of Lancaster, passed away at his home on Sunday, April 24, 2016, after struggling with a long battle with MS.

A memorial visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 28, at Schwartz Funeral Home in Lancaster, immediately followed by graveside services with military honors accorded by Richard Burns American Legion Post No. 109, William Pollock VFW Post No. 2344 and DAV No. 40 at Hillside Cemetery, Lancaster.
