Lucille E. Sandy, 93, passed away at St. Elizabeth Nursing Home on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2025. She was born Apr. 22, 1932, in La Crosse, WI, to Andrew and Anna E. (Bean) Knutson. On Apr. 26, 1958, she married Arthur L. Sandy in Utica, WI and he would precede her in death on Jan 25, 2000.

Lucille grew up on a farm during the depression.

Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 9, 2026, at the Apfel Wolfe Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
