    Marcella Geraldine Johnston, 90, Fennimore, passed away on Tuesday morning, Dec. 11, 2012 at Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster. Honoring Marcella’s wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. A public graveside service and burial of her cremated remains will take place at 1 p.m. on Thursday afternoon, May 2, 2013 in the Castle Rock Lutheran Church Cemetery in Hickory Grove Township Grant County. Katherine Maude “Kate” Flansburgh, age 99 of Boscobel, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 26, 2025 with her family by her side.  The memorial service for Kate was held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 30, 2025 at the Kendall Funeral Service, 209 Mary Street, Boscobel with Rev. Stan Pegram officiating. A visitation was held at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. She will be laid to rest in the Boscobel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established. Online condolences can be offered at www.kendallfuneralservice.com.
