Martha M. Schmidt, age 86, of Cassville, passed away peacefully on Friday, Sept. 30, 2011, at the Lancaster Care Center.  Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 4 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Cassville, with Pastor Pam Strakeljahn officiating. Burial was in Cassville Cemetery.  The Martin Funeral Home in Cassville assisted the family.
