Matthew Marvin Niebuhr, 31, of Livingston, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on Saturday morning, Aug. 13 at his residence.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 19 at the Soman-Larson Funeral Home in Montfort, with burial to be held at a later date in the Prairie Mound Cemetery in Oregon. Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home on Friday. There will be “A Celebration of Life” in honor of Matthew Marvin Niebuhr to be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 2 at the Tower Junction in Montfort.
