FENNIMORE—Melvin Gene Klais, age 66, died on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Finley Hospital in Dubuque, Iowa.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 29, at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Liberty Ridge, with burial following in Rock Church Cemetery with Military Honors, rural Livingston. Katherine Maude “Kate” Flansburgh, age 99 of Boscobel, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 26, 2025 with her family by her side.  The memorial service for Kate was held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 30, 2025 at the Kendall Funeral Service, 209 Mary Street, Boscobel with Rev. Stan Pegram officiating. A visitation was held at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. She will be laid to rest in the Boscobel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established. Online condolences can be offered at www.kendallfuneralservice.com.
