Phillip R. Townsend, age 55, of Readstown, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2024, at his home. He was born on February 26, 1969, in Richland Center to Donald and Vivian (Phillips) Townsend.

Phil attended Kickapoo Area Schools, and later attended Western Area Tech in Viroqua. Phil held several jobs, including with the Village of Readstown, Carney’s Kickapoo Dairy Service, Sun Rise Orchards, and he most presently worked at Rush Creek Ranch in Retreat. He proudly served on the Readstown Fire Department & EMS for many years.  

A Celebration of Phil’s Life was held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at the Readstown Advancement Building in Readstown. Visitation was held from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
