Richard A. “Dick” Osterholz, 82, of Platteville died on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014, at the VA Hospital, Madison.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, at the Lutheran Church of Peace, Platteville. Rev. Jeff Pedersen will officiate. Chapel military rites will be accorded by American Legion Post #42 and VFW Post #5274.  Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Platteville, at a later date.  Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.  The Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, is serving the family.  Memorials may be made to the Richard Osterholz Memorial Fund.
