Robert Louis Schmelz, 79, of Potosi, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 5 at the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City, Iowa.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 27 from 1–4 p.m. at the Holiday Gardens in Potosi. A private family graveside service with military honors will be held at British Hollow Cemetery, Potosi. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Potosi is assisting the family.
