Ruth Berget, age 92 of Monroe, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at the Monroe Clinic Hospital in Monroe. She was born May 14, 1922, in Red Rock in Lafayette County, the daughter of Michael and Charlotte McGettigan.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, March 30, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church (104 E. Harriet St., Darlington) with Rev. John Bosco Pudhota  officiating. Burial was held at Miller Cemetery in Wiota. A visitation was held on Sunday, March 29, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Erickson Funeral Home in Darlington where a Rosary was prayed at 4:00 p.m.
