William “Bill” Swart Jr., 99, passed away of natural causes on Aug. 27 at the Epione Pavilion nursing home in Cuba City.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday Aug. 30 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory in Platteville. Rev. Gus Carns officiated. Burial was at Pleasant View Primitive Methodist Church Cemetery. A luncheon followed the service. Visitation was from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home.
