Winsome “Winnie” A. O’Brien Halverson, 68 of McGregor, Iowa, died from complications of a recent heart surgery on Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minn.

    A memorial service was held Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014 at 7 p.m. at the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bruce Hanson officiating. A memorial fund has been established at the Central State Bank of McGregor or Marquette, Iowa.
