Ally Wall, Sr., P, Wauzeka–Steuben softball
The Wauzeka–Steuben softball and baseball teams ended a light week by welcoming the La Farge Wildcats to town Monday afternoon. Hornet softball improved to 6–0 on the season with a 10–0 win in five innings. Wauzeka–Steuben scored three runs in the second, five in the third and one more in the fourth for their ten runs. Ally Wall dominated on the mound with a five-inning no-hitter, allowing one base runner on a walk, in five innings and struck out 10 batters to earn the win. She also went 1-for-3 with two RBI. 

Cooper Lomas, So., P, Wauzeka–Steuben baseball
The WS offense clicked early and often in Monday's baseball game. The Hornets scored three runs in the first, two in the second, four in the third and two in the fifth. The Hornets collected 15 hits in the game. Lomas went 3-for-5 with two runs and three RBI to lead the offense. Lomas also earned the victory on the hill for the Hornets, allowing four runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out nine batters in 6 2/3 innings pitched before Bird came on to get the final out of the game.


HONORABLE MENTION (in alphabetical order)
Brielle Fishnick, Fr., sprints, Cassville/Potosi track and field
Fishnick won the girls' 100 (13.02) and 200 (29.41) and teamed with senior Hannah Infield, and sophomores Iria Adams and Grace Laufenberg to finish second in the 4x100 relay at Saturday's Platteville Invitational to lead the Cassville/Potosi girls to a fifth place team finish.

Cole Herbst, Fr., Platteville golf
Herbst shot a 9-over par 81 to tied for fifth place in Division 2 at last Friday's Reedsburg Invitational to help the Hillmen (359) finished sixth out of 12 teams in Division 2. Herbst then shot a 2-under par 34 to win medalist honors and lead the Hillmen to a first-place finish at Tuesday's nine-hole Lancaster Southwest Wisconsin Conference Meet.

Marcus Sponsler, Sr., hurdles, Platteville track and field
Sponsler raced to a pair of victories in the boys' 110-meter high hurdles and the 300-meter hurdles at Saturday's Platteville Invitational to help the Hillmen win the boys team title in the first track meet held at the new Platteville Activities Complex which opened last October.
